Looking Forward

Peace...

It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work.  It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.  --Unknown

I hope to find peace in 2015.

Wishing you the best in the New Year!

  3. I wish you peace as well! I wish I could hold up the crystal ball for you and let you know what I see in your future. But you need to experience it for yourself. I can only tell you that I KNOW that children are in your future, be they biological, adopted, or both. It is your decision to make your dream a reality, by whatever means necessary. You don't have to "settle" for being anything less than what you want. Although adoption isn't necessarily a "fall back" option for having biological children, sometimes, by necessity, it is. It is no better or worse than having your own biological children, just a different method. If there comes a time when you think that you have exhausted the biological avenues, grieve that loss, just as the other losses you have suffered. I understand your physical, emotional and mental drive to procreate, but never lose sight of the end goal...motherhood. <3

    1. Thank you, Diane, for this heartfelt comment. So much wisdom in your words, of course coming from your own experiences and journey. You are right, it is important to prioritize and to let your heart be open. There are no definite answers yet, just lots of questions and ambiguity. Still have to wait. Not there yet.
